On a snow slide

This story is about a group of kids and a snow slide they built. One of the boys, Kotka, waited inside while other kids did all the work and went for a ride when everyone finished and left. He couldn't climb on it in his skates so he covered the slide with sand. But then it turned out he could't slide down... 

The illustrations are made for a full-page illustration at the beginning of the story and a vignette at the end.

A Living Hat 

Nosov's most popular story is about a kitten that dropped a hat on itself and scared two boys. 

This is illustration for a full page spread. 
On the left is a full-page strip with a picture of frightened boys armed with a poker and a ski stick. 
The right side is a text frame that continues the room interior. In the lower right corner there is the hat that scared the boys so much.

Sasha 

The story of the boy Sasha, who asked his sisters for a toy gun with pistons. He promised not to scare anyone on the street. But of course he couldn't resist running into the street to bang his gun which scared a woman. Then Sasha saw a policeman following him, ran home and hid under a bed. It turned out that the policeman found the toy and was just looking for the owner to return it. And the first thing Sasha did when he got the gun was to sign it. At the same time, the story is kind, very carefully teaching children about responsibility for their actions.

 The illustrations are made with as an A4 colored picture before the beginning of the story and a vignette at the end.
